Photoshoot Preparation Guide

Below are some wardrobe, hair and makeup suggestions for the day of our shoot. 😀

Wardrobe

• These images should capture who you truly are – your professional look, style and personality. Our lighting will compliment much of your natural coloring.

• Dress how you would want your audience to view you. This may include a suit and tie, polo shirt with your embroidered logo, business casual or simply a t-shirt and jeans.

• Select clothing that compliments your style. Solid colors that compliment the color tones of your hair, eyes or complexion are recommended. Monochrome, earth tones and neutrals are always a good choice.

• Avoid excess jewelry or shirts with stripes or patterns; these can be distracting in a photograph.

Hair

• Although we do have a hair stylist available, your hair should be styled as you normally wear it. If you dye or color your hair, please allow for a minimum of 3 days for the color to set prior to your photoshoot.

• Hair stylists are $100/hour with a 2 hour minimum. Travel time may be additional depending on location and assignment.

Make-up

• Although we do have make-up artists available, we always recommend that your make-up should be as you normally would wear it. Your photos should ultimately look as you would normally present yourself to your audience.

•Make-up artists are $125/hour with a 2 hour minimum. Travel time may be additional depending on location and assignment.

General Advice

• Try to get a good night’s sleep the day before your shoot. You’ll feel rested, refreshed and ready for your photos to be taken.

• Avoid over exposure to the sun or prolonged tanning bed use for 2 days prior to your session.
